Level 3: Symptoms of Endometriosis
Information Booth 1
Introduction
The symptoms of endometriosis vary from patient to patient. Some individuals have many symptoms and severe pain, while others are asymptomatic and have no symptoms at all. The types and severity of symptoms are likely to be related to the location of the endometriosis-like tissue. Doctors do not always list the following symptoms as medically recognized symptoms. It’s important to speak to your healthcare provider if you are experiencing painful periods or any of the symptoms explained later in this level.
